Job Summary: We seek a dedicated educator to develop and implement high-quality curriculum programs, creating a nurturing learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods;
  • Assess and report student progress;
  • Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education;
  • Analyse student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement;
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes;
  • Collaborate with school leadership and staff, contributing to school life;
  • Provide student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities;
  • Create safe and supportive learning environments for students;
  • Effectively manage student discipline and related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Selection Criteria:

  • A background in primary education is encouraged but not required;
  • The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation;
  • Experience and proven record in effective classroom learning and teaching;
  • Advanced understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices;
  • Ability to differentiate the learning to meet the needs of all students;
  • Capacity to work collegially and collaborate within a diverse team;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, punctuality, and adaptability;
  • Ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience, and understanding.
