International Student Recruitment Specialist

Job Summary
This role supports the international student recruitment and admissions functions through the assessment of applications, production of correspondence, data entry and related administrative tasks. In this role, you will also handle enquiries, provide advice to students and other interested parties, RMIT staff and external bodies on various matters related to international student admissions. This position also plays a significant part in the acceptance process through the lifting of conditions, checking payments in SAMS and issuing eCOEs.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and process international student applications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Produce high-quality correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
Enter and maintain accurate data in various systems, including SAMS.
Handle enquiries and provide advice to students, staff, and external parties on international student admissions matters.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve international student recruitment and admissions processes.
Work collaboratively with the Global Marketing and Student Recruitment team to achieve recruitment and admissions goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including students, staff, and external bodies.
Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, policies, and procedures related to international student admissions.
Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Highly developed self and work organization skills, including ability to work quickly and accurately, to prioritize tasks and to use initiative.
