Job Role: Claims Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our Public Sector claims portfolio.

  • Manage end-to-end processes for primarily Public Liability and Property claims;
  • Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with third parties;
  • Build rapport with clients;
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and underwriters.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in public liability claims or similar sectors;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • A customer-centric approach;
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clients Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships;
  • Relationships Management: Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations, manage costs, and negotiate with third parties.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Law, Business/Commerce, Loss Adjusting or ANZIIF studies;
  • Previous client-facing experience is highly desirable.
