Warehouse Team Member Job Description

Costco Wholesale is a global retailer with a strong presence in the market. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Team Member to join our team at our Docklands warehouse in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with general fresh food department tasks, including packing, cleaning, and food production.
  • Check packaging for tampering and follow all safety and security procedures.
  • Run errands for cashiers, such as retrieving merchandise, boxes, and register supplies, to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Perform related tasks, such as setting up and closing duties, returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking, and cleaning the area.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Assist other areas in the department as needed.
  • Operate mechanical trash compactor/cardboard baler.
  • Work a rotating schedule, including weekend shifts and early morning starts.

Requirements:

  • Availability to commence early November 2024 and work until February 2025.
