Physiotherapist - Grade 2 Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team in a Grade 2 role. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing quality, safe, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to patients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognised Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Full current and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration.
  • Broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy skills and experience in an acute hospital setting.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be integral to providing responsive, flexible physiotherapy care to improve timely and effective care, patient flow and discharge, and subsequently improve patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing quality, evidence-based, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to patients in emergency departments and short stay units.
  2. Ensuring a holistic approach to patient care, incorporating the needs of patients and their carers.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
