Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team in a rotational role across acute wards, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, with a varied caseload including orthopaedics, surgery, medical and critical care. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills. They will also be responsible for developing appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients, ensuring direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
  • Use patient-centered care to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
  • Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers.
  • Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.
  • Assist with education and training programs for students as requested.
  • Complete administrative duties arising from each session instructed, including liaison with the office administration team and reporting of statistical data.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments. They will also need to hold a registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and demonstrate ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team.
