About This Role
As a civil engineer, you will lead general civil work including road design and urban precinct planning projects for government and private sector clients.
You will act on a range of projects, including business development, proposal writing, and bidding for civil infrastructure projects.
Collaboration with engineers across Australia is key to delivering transport design services on various transport infrastructure projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering projects involving road design and urban planning.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including development, proposal, and bid stages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver key transport infrastructure projects.
- Provide team leadership within the local Transport Business, mentoring junior team members and financial reporting on projects.
- Contribute to business and strategic planning with internal stakeholders to support the wider business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and a track record of applying technical expertise to project delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when dealing with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively at internal and client-facing levels, developing new relationships and maintaining existing networks.
