Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead our Transport Infrastructure team in Rockhampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineers across Australia to deliver key transport design services on various transport infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects.
  • Act as Project Manager / Technical Lead on a range of projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver key transport design services.
  • Provide Team Leader responsibilities within the local Transport Business.
  • Participate in business and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in a consultancy, local council, or state government department.
  • Future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth.
  • Extensive design and/or project management experience.
  • Proven knowledge of Australian Standards.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
