We are seeking a Lead Power Systems Engineer to join our Perth-based Power Systems team. The successful candidate will take a leadership role, creating and driving design, reports, studies, and analysis for our diverse clientele across resources and renewable energy.

  • Strong skills and experience in analysis and design of HV power systems, including powerlines and substations
  • Specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience
  • Solid electrical engineering experience with knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and controls applications
  • Experience working on both greenfields and brownfields projects
  • Degree-level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialized power engineering qualifications well regarded
  • Ability to self-manage while working in a variety of team/project delivery scenarios
  • Ability to travel with project requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake power system analysis for clients
  • Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries
  • Preparation and evaluation of tenders
  • Use power systems modelling packages such as DigSilent (PowerFactory) and ETAP
