Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Kingswood Aluminium. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design, procurement, and installation of facades for some of South Australia's flagship construction projects. You will work closely with our clients to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project management plans to achieve project objectives
  • Manage and coordinate with drafting and other departments as required
  • Liaise with shipping agents and KFT on all projects and custom requirements
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers
  • Monitor and report on the impact of changes in scope or extent
  • Attend meetings and site meetings as required
  • Authorise payment of project materials and payment to contractors
  • Maintain and update project management spreadsheets and systems as required
  • Attend handover meetings to review documentation & information
  • Assess and report projected claims and monitor performance
  • Maintain and monitor overseas production and supply to ensure on-site requirements are met
  • Monitor project costs and forecasts re-estimated cost of completion
  • Maintain site safety at all times, working cooperatively with clients and WHS Officers as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in efficient and effective decision-making in the context of high-risk/high-profile project delivery
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • A strong track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
