Senior Grants Manager

This role leads the identification, preparation, and management of grant opportunities, ensuring compliance, impact, and collaboration with partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure grant opportunities that align with the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Lead high-quality application preparation in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Develop project management frameworks, standards, and tools to strengthen grant portfolio outcomes.
  • Manage all aspects of grant budgets, reporting, governance, and compliance.
  • Monitor progress, lead risk management, and maintain quality standards.
  • Establish grant-related policies, frameworks, and quality standards.
  • Build relationships with funding bodies and coordinate contributions from staff and contractors.
  • Support professional development by identifying learning needs and recommending opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related field with grant acquisition experience.
  • Exceptional grant writing skills with persuasive proposal development.
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills.
  • Expertise in program/project management and portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in developing project frameworks, tools, and standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and people management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the health and medical sector.
