Lead a team of experienced grant and tender writers to develop and manage a significant portfolio of programs:

We are seeking a Grant Development Lead to grow and maintain relationships with donors and partners, identify opportunities, and develop high-quality concept proposals.

This role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment with strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a grants acquisition and management network
  • Build relationships across international donors and partners
  • Develop business development strategies targeting potential donors and attracting funding
  • Mentor and coach staff in program design and grant acquisition
  • Manage the bid submission process
  • Ensure forward planning of funding by leveraging current relationships

You will have:

  • Business development experience, ideally in a Not for Profit or medical sector
  • Leadership experience across projects
  • Ideal experience managing donor relationships or partnering with government or multilateral agencies
  • A thorough understanding of grant structures
  • Knowledge of challenges faced in the international development area
  • An understanding of trends and emerging models of partnerships between government and Not for Profit organisations
