We are seeking a dedicated and skilled pastry chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pastry products to our discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate the activities of cooks and support staff
- Develop creative food displays and presentations
- Ensure dishes meet quality and presentation standards
- Monitor food quantities prepared
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
A successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment. They should possess strong food safety knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
