Religious Education Coordinator

Inspire faith and lead with purpose as a Religious Education Coordinator. Our leadership team seeks a visionary leader to shape the school's culture rooted in Catholic identity, compassion, and excellence.

  • Lead initiatives that inspire students and staff, support faith formation across the school, and build strong connections with the parish and wider community.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal and Parish Priest to develop a culture of excellence in education and faith formation.

This role offers the chance to grow as a leader while making a lasting impact every single day.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement curriculum innovation to enhance student learning outcomes.
  2. Build and maintain relationships between the school and its broader parish community.
  3. Promote faith formation within the community through various initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of Catholic philosophy and theology, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Practising Catholic with exemplary values and attitudes appropriate to professional practice.
  • Implicit and relevant understanding of the philosophy and theology of Catholic Education.
  • Proven capacity to build links between the school and its broader parish community.
  • Capacity to promote faith formation within the community.
  • Compliance or preparedness to work towards and comply with relevant accreditation policies.

Desired skills and experience include proven ability to work collaboratively, facilitate improvement in student learning, and lead curriculum innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Four-year trained teacher classification with at least four years successful teaching experience consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation.
  • Working with Children Clearance number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications.
