As an Assistant Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in leading a team of educators to deliver engaging programs that cater to diverse interests and needs.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 27.5 hours per week, allowing you to develop your skills as a leader while making a positive impact on young lives.

You'll work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30 am - 9:00 am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Stay and Play). Extra hours are also available during school holidays.

About the Role

As Assistant Coordinator, you'll be empowered to shine in your role with the backing of a dedicated state-specific office and mentorship from regional managers who visit regularly.

  • Develop and facilitate child-centered programs full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft.
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, schools, communities, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including compliance and administration.

Qualifications:

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with children and making a positive impact.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Work well in a team and aspire to grow into a leadership role.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
  • Have Australian work rights.
  • Obtain or study towards a relevant diploma level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.
