Job Title: Veterinary Nurse - Emergency Care

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinary nurse to join our team at AEC Mount Waverley. As an ECC nurse, you will have the opportunity to advance your career in emergency and critical care, providing exceptional care to pets in need.

You will work closely with our experienced vets and nurses to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients with complex medical conditions. Our supportive learning environment and training programs will help you develop your skills and knowledge in emergency nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions
  • Work closely with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in emergency nursing
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anaesthesia monitoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
