Emergency Animal Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to further your knowledge and skills in Emergency and Critical Care, working with a variety of cases including DKA, MODS, GDV, central lines, high-flow oxygen, ventilators, and feeding tubes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team of veterinarians and nurses, developing your skills in Emergency and Critical Care.
You will also have access to continuing education and training programs, including the opportunity for funding for an ECC diploma.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anaesthesia monitoring advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Genuine passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
