Job Description

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse to join our Mental Health team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

About this role:

  • Contribute to the clinical education of students and less experienced staff
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to provide integration and coordination between different sites or programs
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with consumers and their family/carers in cooperation with other care providers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Credentialing through the College of Mental Health Nurses (or prepared to work towards a credential in Mental Health Nursing)
  • A graduate certificate or greater within a relevant specialty area is highly desirable
  • Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
  • Tuberculosis screening
