Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to construct sophisticated predictive models using a combination of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques. These models will be based on historical risk data and expert knowledge, with the goal of identifying potential fraud behavior.

In collaboration with risk strategy analysts, you will utilize appropriate algorithms to solve real business problems and develop optimal risk-benefit decision strategies. Your expertise in balancing customer experience and security will be crucial in implementing effective solutions.

To accomplish this, you will need to:

  1. Develop and implement predictive models that accurately forecast risk and detect potential fraud.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  1. A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  2. Profound understanding of machine learning algorithms and tools, including SQL and Python.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  4. Experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in research and development.
  5. Fluency in spoken and written English, with proficiency in Chinese considered an asset.
