Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Professional

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the modernization of our business intelligence environment. This role involves rebuilding legacy reports, integrating with modern data platforms, and collaborating closely with domain experts to deliver actionable insights.

This is a key position that requires a strong technical background, as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex business intelligence solutions in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Modernize Legacy Reports: Rebuild existing reports in Power BI, ensuring business continuity and accuracy
  • Design Interactive Dashboards: Develop interactive dashboards and data models integrated with Databricks and Azure-based sources
  • Develop Efficient Solutions: Create efficient and reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic models
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and SMEs to validate requirements and align outputs with financial business logic
  • Ensure Governance: Ensure all visuals adhere to best practices in data visualisation, governance, and performance optimisation
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience delivering business intelligence solutions in complex enterprise environments
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries
  • Deep expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and Data modeling
  • Experience integrating with Databricks and querying Delta Lake or Spark tables
  • Strong knowledge of Azure data services
