We are currently seeking an accomplished data analyst to take on a pivotal role in the modernization of our business intelligence environment.

This position entails rebuilding legacy reports in Power BI, integrating with cutting-edge data platforms such as Databricks and Azure, and collaborating closely with domain experts to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Recreate and modernize existing legacy reports in Power BI, ensuring seamless business continuity and accuracy

Design and build interactive dashboards and data models integrated with Databricks and Azure-based sources

Develop efficient and reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic models

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to validate requirements and align outputs with financial business logic

Ensure all visuals adhere to best practices in data visualization, governance, and performance optimization

Participate in a structured handover process with the outgoing team to capture logic, dependencies, and business rules

Document report logic, business definitions, and transformation rules to support maintainability

Contribute to the Agile delivery process, working in sprints

Required Experience and Skills:

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience delivering Power BI solutions in complex, enterprise environments.

Experience in financial services or regulated industries.

Deep expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modeling (star schema, snowflake, normalization)

Experience integrating with Databricks and querying Delta Lake or Spark tables.

Strong knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse).

Proven experience in migrating or recreating reports from legacy systems to Power BI.

Familiarity with source control and CI/CD workflows (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Lucidchart.
