Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, enterprise agreements, and relevant policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the payroll process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to streamline efficiency.
  • Proactively review payroll processes and systems, making recommendations for digitization and automation.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to maintain payroll integrity.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll matters, including entitlements, overpayments, deductions, and award/classification changes.
  • Support internal and external audits, contributing to governance and risk management frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering payroll services in a complex, regulated environment. They will also possess a strong improvement mindset, solid knowledge of employment legislation, and advanced Excel skills.
