About the Role

The Housing Team Leader will lead a small team across the Brisbane and Logan region to deliver supported accommodation and improve the wellbeing of residents. This role requires a strong understanding of the factors contributing to young people disconnecting from family and community or disengaging from education, training, and/or employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and meet program performance as per monthly and quarterly dashboard system.
  • Implement staff supports that maintain adherence to the program Model of Care, Human Service Practice Framework, and enhance staff role clarity.
  • Develop a responsive client 'customer service' culture in the team.
  • Cultivate productive working relationships at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor qualification in Social Work/Human Services/Psychology/Sociology/Criminology/Counselling or relevant field.
  • Five (5) years' experience in relevant human service field, e.g., Child Protection, Family Support, Youth Support, Youth Justice, Disability, Housing, Domestic Violence.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in a practitioner or front-line position in a similar field.
What We Offer
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • Starting annual salary of $98,500 (depending on qualifications and experience).
  • 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take-home pay).
