Empower People with Disabilities to Live Fulfilling Lives

We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to empower people with disabilities to build independence, achieve their goals, and live fulfilling lives in the community.
As a support worker, you will be involved in delivering personal care, supporting daily living activities, facilitating community access, and providing emotional and behavioural support.
The role requires working closely with participants to understand their needs, preferences, and goals, and creating individualized care plans that promote independence and well-being.
- Key responsibilities include delivering personal care, supporting daily living activities, facilitating community access, and providing emotional and behavioural support.
- Additional duties may include assisting with medication reminders, mobility support, and complex health needs when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification, have experience in disability, aged care, or mental health, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You must also be able to work independently as well as part of a supportive team, be flexible and reliable, and have a genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives.
Additionally, you will need to hold a Current First Aid & CPR Certificate, completed an NDIS Worker Screening Check, have a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), National Police Check, and Current Australian Driver's License and ability to transport participants.
Finally, you must have the Right to work in Australia.
- Desirable qualifications include experience with SIL or complex needs, understanding trauma-informed care, and managing challenging behaviors.
