Job Title: Stormwater Maintenance Team Supervisor

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving Gawler's stormwater infrastructure. Your work will contribute to effective water flow management while reducing environmental impacts for our community.

You will be responsible for providing supervision, support, and direction to the team on day-to-day activities, working closely with the Team Leader and Leading Workers to program projects and activities in line with other workgroups schedules and business plan objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with scheduling and resourcing for daily maintenance programs and projects;
  • Ensure all works are delivered to design standards, regulations, and codes of practice, applying corrective strategies where required;
  • Supervise contractors and resolve contractor enquiries as needed;
  • Keep the Team Leader informed of work progress and emerging issues;
  • Actively participate in hands-on operational work in line with multifunctional Award provisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality services to the community. You will bring:

  • Experience in civil maintenance, drainage, or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of stormwater systems and their environmental importance;
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
  • A current MR Driver's Licence;
  • Workzone Traffic Management Accreditation;
  • White Card and relevant safety training (desirable).
