We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as an Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist.
Job DescriptionWe provide evidence-informed solutions that are person-centred, family-focused and customer driven. Our goal is to deliver meaningful change for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families/support network. We achieve this by identifying strengths, areas of need, and developing support strategies that build capabilities and align with the participant's interests.
Our team meets participants in their community setting to work on transferable skills that shape their everyday lives. This may involve building strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy or speech pathology services to individuals on the autism spectrum and their families/support network;
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive support plans;
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology;
- 1-3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy;
- A self-starter attitude with a willingness to deepen skills in neurodivergence;
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain;
- A current driver's license and use of own vehicle for work (reimbursed per km).
