Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Leasing Executive to join our team at Claremont Quarter. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for maximizing investment returns and minimizing risk through strategic leasing. You will work closely with our General Manager Leasing and Centre Manager to further activate retail, adding vibrancy and diversity to the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing Strategy and Execution
    • Source, negotiate, contract, and follow up with new retailers that meet the asset vision and strategy.
    • Negotiate, contract, and follow up with existing retailers that meet the asset vision and strategy.
  • Lease Administration
    • Lease negotiation, documentation, and instructions to the Lease Administrator.
    • Introduction of new and existing tenants to fit-out procedures and expectations.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of market trends and movements in retail leasing transactions.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Regular liaison with tenants, external retail leasing agents, and tenant representatives.
    • Work with General Manager Leasing, General Manager Claremont Quarter, and Centre Manager to prepare leasing forecasts and budgets.
  • Qualification Requirements
    • Minimum of 10 years retail leasing experience with project leasing highly regarded.
    • Current REBA Sales Registration.
    • Valid Driver's License and road-worthy vehicle essential.
    • Qualifications, training, and development in shopping centre leasing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred Skills and Attributes
    • Proven record of closing leasing negotiations in a timely manner.
    • Established strong network of national and independent retailers.
    • Well-developed planning and organization skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
