Drilling Operations Manager

Establish a new division for Beilby Downing Teal's Underground Drilling business, leveraging your expertise in setting up and managing business units to drive growth and success.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity to join a dynamic team as a key member of the senior management team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the establishment of the new division and driving its strategic development;
- Conducting a thorough market analysis of Australian underground top-hole consumables and developing a comprehensive market strategy;
- Driving sales growth through effective business development and account management;
- Sourcing and developing a high-performing team to deliver sales growth objectives;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction;
- Overseeing supply chain logistics, including forecasting, ordering, and inventory management;
- Managing the division's overall profit and loss (P&L) performance.
As a seasoned mining professional, you possess the skills and expertise required to excel in this role. Your experience in business development, account management, and leadership will enable you to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success.
RequirementsTo be successful in this position, you will need:
- A proven track record of establishing and managing business units/divisions in the mining industry;
- Strong knowledge of the underground drilling business and market trends;
- Excellent business development and account management skills;
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders;
- Experience in supply chain logistics and P&L management;
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
