About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a Wealth Management Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all operational processes for the CIP KYC and PEP reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Documentation: Review documentation provided by clients and Sales teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Escalate Regulatory Concerns: Escalate regulatory concerns or exceptions to the AMT Manager for further review and discussions.
  • High-Risk Accounts: Escalate accounts with high-risk triggers or high-risk accounts for Global Financial Crimes (GFC) signoff.
  • Accuracy and Validation: Review and validate the accuracy of values that impact client's ML / TF risk, such as Source of Wealth (SoW) and Total Net Worth.
  • Continuous Engagement: Continuous and active engagement with Sales teams to share KYC and ML / TF related guidance.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure periodic review and relevant approval records are retained properly in internal database and monitor the receipt of any outstanding documentation within required timeframe.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience required.
  • Financial Services Experience: At least 3 years' experience in the financial services industry, ideally with previous experience in Risk and Compliance with a private bank, or onboarding/periodic review in a top-tier bank.
  • AML/KYC Standards: Understanding of global AML/KYC standards, in particular Australian and UK- FSA requirements.
  • Analytical and Organisational Skills: Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively and clearly instruct/ advise Sales teams and other stakeholders.
  • Articulation of Issues: Ability to articulate issues concisely and effectively.
  • Teamwork: Able to work both independently and with a team in a dynamic environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliverables.
  • Impressive Knowledge: Impressive knowledge of KYC documentation, industry regulations and best practices.

What We Offer:

This role will pay approximately $ per day plus super, depending on prior experience in relevant positions.
