About the Company: A leading global wealth management advisory firm is seeking an experienced professional to manage a team of Associate Advisers and provide front office and risk support to the business.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leading: Lead, mentor, train, recruit, and onboard Associate Advisers in the Sydney office.
  • Process Enhancement: Enhance procedures and processes for the Associates.
  • Risk Management: Support the First Line risk activities, including maintenance of risk and control registers, and incident management.
  • Client Advice: Maintain client advice processes and documentation.
  • Front Office Support: Assist with Front office Remediation projects and provide onboarding support for advisers to the business.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role within the Stockbroking / Wealth Management sector, ideally with prior Dealer Assistant / Associate adviser experience, combined with some risk, KYC, Admin support, and/or team leading.
  • Qualifications: RG146 accreditation or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Finance Qualifications: Degree qualified in finance or related disciplines.
  • Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Client Experience: An advantage.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication with an ability to influence.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on compliance.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
