About the Role

Berry Street's Take Two program is seeking a qualified Clinician to join our team as a Therapeutic Clinician - Hybrid Role. This position will provide therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have experienced or are recovering from family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments and provide brief interventions to families referred to the service.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions ranging from short to long-term, typically involving individual, dyadic, and family-based sessions with children and young people and their families.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Clinician and other team members to ensure that services are tailored to the individual needs of families referred to NHARP and are consistent with Take Two's policies and procedures.

About You

We are seeking a qualified Clinician who has a relevant Bachelor level or higher qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline. You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system and a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.

You will also have a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and community.
