About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Psychologist to join our team at VOICE, working from our Preston office 4 days a week and Ringwood office 1 day a week. As a Psychologist with VOICE, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients, supporting their recovery and achieving positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and develop support case plans and return to work plans
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with treating multidisciplinary specialists, community groups, employers, customers, and government agencies
  • Deliver training to staff on dealing with clients who have mental health and physical barriers to employment
  • Implement and facilitate an innovative treatment/training program to assist candidates to overcome their barriers
  • Monitor outcomes and contribute to the development of internal resources

About You
  • Friendly and professional Psychologist who seeks to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Desire and motivation to make a change working with clients with multiple complex barriers to employment
  • Registration (or eligible for Registration for Provisional role) as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Ability to communicate with a wide cross-section of the community and non-English speaking background clients
  • Initiative, problem-solving skills, and energy
