Patient Support Specialist

This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment while supporting healthcare professionals with patient care tasks in a ward-based setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity
  • Supporting healthcare professionals with patient care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Cleaning and preparing equipment and supplies
  • Participating in handover reports and communication with the healthcare team
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families

We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, reliable, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting and possess excellent communication skills.

This is a permanent Part-Time appointment at 70 hours per fortnight. We offer competitive salary and benefits, including 12% employer-contributed superannuation and access to flexible working arrangements.
