Fitch Solutions is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Sydney office. As a key member of our Australian Structured Finance and Covered Bonds team, you will be responsible for rating new transactions, monitoring existing ones, and providing timely market commentary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rating new transactions, including analysis of new asset classes and issuers
  • Ensuring all structured finance transactions and covered bonds programs are reviewed on a continuous 12-month schedule
  • Performing data analysis in Excel, executing Fitch-generated models, and preparing analytical documentation
  • Presenting analytical documentation and communicating comments and opinions in committee
  • Providing timely market and transaction performance commentary
  • Managing queries from issuers, bankers, and investors, representing Fitch and communicating effectively with external transaction parties
  • Participating in originator and servicer review meetings
  • Ad-hoc projects, reporting, and authoring reports

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a finance-related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of structured finance experience from an issuer, arranger, or trustee
  • Intermediate Excel skills with knowledge of functions such as vlookup, sumif, if, index, and match
  • Strong time management skills and a high level of attention to detail
