Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate Director to join our Australian Structured Finance and Covered Bonds team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for rating new transactions, monitoring existing transactions, and providing timely market/transaction performance commentary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rating new transactions, including analyzing new asset classes and issuers
  • Ensuring all structured finance transactions/CvB programmes are reviewed on a continuous 12-month schedule
  • Performing data analysis in Excel, executing Fitch generated models, and preparing analytical documentation
  • Presenting analytical documentation and communicating comments and opinions in committee effectively
  • Providing timely market/transaction performance commentary
  • Managing queries from issuers/bankers/investors and representing Fitch in external transaction parties
  • Participating in originator/servicer review meetings and ad-hoc projects/reporting
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a finance-related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years structured finance experience from an issuer, arranger, or trustee
  • Intermediate Excel skills with knowledge of vlookup(), sumif(), if(), index(), match(), etc.
  • Strong time management skills and a high level of attention to detail
