Senior Finance Analyst

At Suncorp Group Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance & Advice team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and advice to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate close of monthly results in required function and processes.
  • Develop and maintain regular expense forecasts and budgets during budget build periods.
  • Deliver management information, including insightful commentary on operating expenses, capital expenditure, and FTEs, in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide proactive financial advice to the Technology & Operations teams to facilitate informed decisions.
  • Perform analytical reviews of contract renewals and project financials where required.
  • Work collaboratively across immediate team and wider stakeholders to build relationships and provide trusted financial guidance.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) or Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA).
  • Experience in business partnering, performance management, or a financial performance & analysis role.
  • Experience in multi-team collaboration and a finance role in a medium to large financial services organisation.
  • Knowledge of finance systems and ability to work with various stakeholders.
