We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team as a Junior Commercial Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manipulate and analyze large data volumes using automation tools such as Power Pivot and Power BI.
  • Provide direct data support to senior commercial analysts.
  • Lead the budget process and support quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with managers.
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking.
  • Assist in formulating and documenting financial governance, data catalogue, and data quality assurance processes.
  • Support month-end and budgeting workstreams.
  • Ensure timely completion of regulatory obligations.
  • Develop clear and concise communication materials.
  • Support new initiatives to enhance financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities and challenges, assessing potential financial impacts.
  • Implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Current membership or working towards membership in CPA Australia (CPA), Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA), or CFA Institute.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in finance, commercial, or business analyst roles.
  • Strong experience in producing accurate management reports.
  • Ability to manage large data volumes, analyze trends, and extract key insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and build strong relationships.
