Green Space Maintenance Specialist

The opportunity to join our horticulture team has arisen for a skilled Trades Gardener. This permanent position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the maintenance of sports fields and foreshores to a high standard.
We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills, who can effectively direct and mentor a team of gardeners. The ideal candidate will possess a Trade Certificate in Horticulture, experience in maintaining sports surfaces, reserves, and landscaped areas, as well as the ability to operate and maintain horticultural machinery.
About the JobThis is a full-time role, working 38 hours over four days, with every Monday off. The base salary range is $65,978 - $74,884 per annum, plus 12% superannuation and a retention allowance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of gardeners, providing direction, coaching, and mentoring.
- Maintain sports fields, reserves, and landscaped areas to a high standard.
- Operate and maintain horticultural machinery.
- Trade Certificate in Horticulture.
- Experience in trades level horticulture activities.
