**Job Opportunity**

This position is a full-time role in the Batemans Bay Maintenance team, working closely with contractors and sub-contractors.

Your main duties will include:

- Operating and maintaining plant items and machinery.
- Physical labouring and other construction/maintenance manual activities.
- Completing construction/maintenance projects alongside contractors and sub-contractors.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement and quality of maintenance services.

**Requirements**

- Ability to perform physical labour tasks, work effectively as a team-member and communicate easily with contractors and the public.
- Experience in a construction/maintenance environment and familiarity with machinery limits and outputs.
- Strong literacy/numeracy skills and a willingness to participate in further training offered by the Council.
