Senior Environmental Project Manager

About the RoleAs a key player in this role, you will spearhead environmental impact assessments, navigating both Victorian and Commonwealth approvals processes, including Environment Effects Statements and Environmental Impact Statements. You'll engage in a variety of National, State, and local infrastructure and development projects, with a special emphasis on renewable energy, maritime transport (both nearshore and offshore), water resources, and mine rehabilitation.
Your Key Responsibilities- Leadership in Environmental Impact Assessments: Drive and lead comprehensive environmental impact assessments, ensuring compliance with Victorian and Commonwealth approvals processes, including Environment Effects Statements (EES) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).
- Project Management Across Diverse Sectors: Manage and oversee National, State, and local infrastructure and development projects, with a particular focus on renewable energy, nearshore and offshore maritime transport, water resources, and mine rehabilitation.
- Strategic Execution and Delivery: Contribute to the successful execution and delivery of our environmental business strategy, fostering the continued growth and development of Arup's environmental practice within Victoria and the broader Australasian region.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and sustainability, leveraging expertise across various sectors to deliver innovative and effective environmental solutions.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals and objectives.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Champion the integration of cutting-edge technologies and best practices in environmental assessments, continuously improving processes and outcomes.

Estimate salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
We are offering a base salary of around $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience, skills and qualifications. This is a full-time position.
