Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Policy Officer to join the Agency Policy branch of a community-focused federal government agency.

  • Analysing and interpreting legislation, policies, strategies and program/project plans.
  • Conducting research to inform policy and strategy design.
  • Contributing to briefings, business cases and other executive material.
  • Supporting managers at external forums and events.
  • Providing information and guidance to people with disability, NDIS participants and the wider community.
  • Contributing to the development of project plans and activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management and administration skills, as well as secretariat and governance experience. They should also be able to write in plain English and format documents effectively.

This hybrid position offers 2 days working from home and 3 on site. A 12-month initial Labour Hire contract is available, with the opportunity to extend.
