Student Mental Health Strategist

CQUniversity is seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation of Mindwaves 2.0, our mental health and wellbeing strategy for students.
About This Role- We are looking for a strategic leader with extensive experience in policy development, program implementation, and evidence-based practices in designing, implementing, and evaluating mental health and wellbeing initiatives and programs.
- The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of health promotion, early intervention, and holistic mental health and wellbeing campaigns and frameworks, as well as strong leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- Oversee the coordinated implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Mindwaves 2.0.
- Design, develop, and evaluate mental health and wellbeing programs, activities, guidelines, and frameworks to support student mental health and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with Counselling, Wellbeing, and Safer Communities leadership, other key stakeholders across the University, and students to ensure the successful delivery of Mindwaves 2.0 outcomes.
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
- Detailed understanding of health promotion, early intervention, and holistic mental health and wellbeing campaigns and frameworks.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in designing, implementing, and evaluating mental health and wellbeing initiatives and programs for diverse student cohorts.
- A competitive salary package of $130,788 to $146,195 per annum.
