Product Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer to fill this critical role in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving product development, compliance, and adaptation while collaborating with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver innovative, market-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, Australian vehicle regulations, and New Zealand inspection and quality standards. They will also possess excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and customer focus skills, as well as the ability to inspire, influence, and manage conflict.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering direction for OEM brands in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Apply expert knowledge of Australian vehicle regulations to advise manufacturers and their distributors on compliance across both markets.
  • Act as primary engineering liaison with OEMs, focusing on new electric vehicle (NEV) readiness and technical standards.
  • Support homologation, regulatory testing, and vehicle adaptation for local market needs.
  • Provide advanced diagnostic and engineering support to aftersales, dealer networks, and field teams.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems and Australian Design Rules (ADRs).
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and customer focus skills.
  • Ability to inspire, influence, and manage conflict.
