We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team, responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an understanding of the business environment, supporting the RFx process, and establishing contract development with vendors. They will also assist in the development and implementation of category and procurement plans and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in indirect procurement, experience working in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation, as well as knowledge of general procurement services and practices across Capex/MRO categories.
This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accurately manage multiple projects. The successful candidate will also exhibit relationship management and conflict management capabilities, and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing timelines.
The Procurement Specialist will work closely with end users and other teams to support on GR (goods received) and IR related matters. A sound understanding of procurement processes and systems, including SAP, is preferred.
As a member of the Procurement & Supply Chain team, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of the overall Category strategy and roadmap, ensuring that Procurement delivers the best value to key stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the business environment and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes.
- Support the RFx process and establish contract development with vendors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of category and procurement plans and initiatives.
- Ensure timely supply of goods and services by sourcing a variety of items as required.
- Track and report on orders and pricing.
- Manage supplier performance scorecards and collaborate across the business.
- Negotiate with vendors and customers to deliver positive relationships.
- Continuously assess and improve procurement processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven background in indirect procurement.
- Experience working in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of general procurement services and practices across Capex/MRO categories.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

- SAP experience is preferred.
