The purpose of this role is to provide expert technical support and coordination of technical activities at a national level, focused on Bizerba product portfolio.

This position will primarily support local customers through installation, servicing, and breakdown support. Technical support will also be provided remotely, with travel to other locations as required.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide installation, breakdown, and servicing support to customers
  • Support Bizerba equipment with interstate travel required for emergency breakdowns and installations
  • Visit customer sites to review production requirements and make recommendations on critical parts stocking and servicing requirements
  • Provide commissioning support for complex installations when requested
  • Liaise with stakeholders to obtain technical information and arrange for factory representatives to visit and resolve issues
  • Assist Spare Parts Department with recommendations about type and quantity of Bizerba parts to be kept in stock
  • Evaluate and follow through to completion all Bizerba quality issues in a timely manner
  • Provide remote technical support to customers and technicians
  • Provide technical input into the criteria for customer and employee training programs for Bizerba products and run training programs where you have product expertise
  • Provide technical input on retrofits and upgrades

Relationships and Authority:

  • Day-to-day reporting is to the NSW Service Manager
  • State-based customer decisions require approval from State Service Managers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years experience with Bizerba products
  • Good understanding of processes and systems
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Well-organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to think laterally and possess methodical problem-solving attributes
  • Previous exposure and proficiency with an ERP system such as SAP and MS Office preferred
