We're seeking experienced professionals to become TRA Assessors for evaluating candidates' skills in installing, maintaining, and testing fire protection equipment.
This role involves ensuring applicants meet Australian Standards (AS1851) and uphold the highest safety regulations in the field.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or successor) and minimum 2 years of experience in fire equipment servicing, testing, and fault rectification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate applicants' ability to install, maintain, and test fire protection systems
- Assess knowledge of safety regulations and Australian Standards
- Review compliance with reporting, documentation, and maintenance requirements
- Help shape the next generation of fire protection professionals
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or successor)
- Minimum 2 years in fire equipment servicing, testing, and fault rectification
- Knowledge of portable extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, and automatic suppression systems
