Capital Projects Portfolio Manager

A senior portfolio manager is required to join our experienced team in Perth. The role involves stakeholder engagement and assessing capital projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the portfolio acceptance process between teams to ensure assurance with transfer of projects;
- Ensure portfolio acceptance incorporates assessment of maturity and gap identification;
- Assess business requirements for study phases and delivery frameworks;
- Monitor, manage and report relevant studies, stage gates and portfolio acceptance performance to leadership teams;
- Manage compliance with Stage Gate process & Lessons Learnt;
- Review standard of deliverables as they pass through study phases;
- Collaborate with study and delivery teams to ensure delivery of outcomes;
- Build relationships with stakeholders to enable smooth flow of information;
- Support strategic planning and improvement to reduce challenges impacting portfolio management processes.
- A commitment to safety;
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Business or similar;
- Outstanding study and project evaluation and analysis skills;
- Strong study and project management experience;
- Exposure to large studies and projects at various phases;
- Strong stakeholder engagement and effective communication skills;
- Detail focused, process driven with a drive for continuous improvement;
- Ability to review large studies and projects with accompanying data sets.
- Engineering, Science, Business or similar degree;
- Postgraduate qualification desirable;
- High levels of competence in MS Excel and other programs.
