In this role, you'll replicate the engaging style found in thumbnails from creators like Preston, Unspeakable, and The Royalty Family. You should have an eye for what makes a design stand out and be able to bring thumbnails to life by following brief instructions and staying updated on the latest trends.

  • Thumbnail Conceptualization: Develop creative concepts for thumbnails that effectively convey video content and message.
  • Visual Design: Utilize graphic design software to create visually engaging thumbnails optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Image Selection and Enhancement: Select compelling images and enhance them as needed to create eye-catching thumbnails.
  • Text Integration: Incorporate legible text elements into thumbnail designs.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency with branding guidelines, including color schemes, fonts, and logo placement.
  • Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B testing to identify optimal performance in terms of click-through rate (CTR) and viewer engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess 1-2+ years of experience creating IRL thumbnails and using Photoshop, along with evidence of previous high-quality Minecraft builds and designs. They should also demonstrate an understanding of visual design principles for thumbnails, including composition and color theory, and showcase a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating various thumbnail styles. Strong communication skills and accountability when working with team members are also essential.
