Job Title: Community Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated clinician to join our team in providing high-quality mental health care to consumers living in the community. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering recovery-oriented services, working closely with families, carers, and community supports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as key clinician for allocated consumers with complex mental health needs
  • Provide holistic assessment, planning, intervention, and review
  • Engage with internal teams and external agencies to advocate for consumer needs
  • Support consumers through periods of crisis, transition, and stabilisation
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic systems
  • Contribute to team portfolios and service development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a mental health clinical setting, preferably in community-based services
  • Qualifications and current registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (Division 1), Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker
  • Knowledge of recovery-oriented practice and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)
  • Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and documentation skills
