We operate across five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital, with mental health services at multiple locations.

Role overview

The Senior Community Mental Health Clinician (CMHC) on the community team provides clinical and discipline leadership, supports other clinicians, and delivers specialist support to complex consumers. The role acts as a leader and role model, participates in quality research and evaluation, and contributes to the team culture and leadership group.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to team members
  • Support clinicians within the clinical review group and wider team
  • Apply discipline expertise to support a small number of complex consumers
  • Contribute to development of quality research and evaluation programs
  • Participate in the team's Leadership group
  • Uphold Northern Health values and support a positive team culture
To be successful you will have
  • Experience and working knowledge relevant to the CMHC role
  • Proven ability to provide clinician support and supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex consumer presentations
  • Well-developed communication and collaboration skills
